Sixteen seasons of them. If yours isn't here, call us at 646-470-6326.
When does Tree Riders NYC open for the 2026 season?
Tree Riders NYC opens Saturday, November 21, 2026 and sells through Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2026. Our stand is at St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery, 131 E 10th Street at 2nd Avenue in the East Village, and it is open 24 hours a day, every day of the season. Trees sell out most seasons, so earlier is better.
How much does Christmas tree delivery cost in NYC?
Delivery is free. There is no delivery fee, no setup fee, and no charge for the stand. The price you see is the price you pay: a 6-foot Fraser fir is $219 delivered, set up, and standing in your home. Trees range from $59 for a table-top to $1,499 for a 13-foot tree. Trees taller than 13 feet are quoted individually, so please call.
Does Tree Riders NYC charge to carry a tree up stairs?
No. We carry your tree up as many flights as it takes, at no extra charge. There is no walk-up fee and no per-floor fee. We are a bicycle delivery company in a walk-up city, and stairs are part of the job.
Can Tree Riders NYC provide a certificate of insurance for my building?
Yes, free of charge. Many Manhattan co-ops and doorman buildings require a certificate of insurance before a delivery crew enters. We issue one at no cost. Contact us at info@treeridersnyc.com or 646-470-6326 with your building's requirements and we will send it over.
What neighborhoods does Tree Riders NYC deliver to?
We deliver across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Manhattan neighborhoods include the East Village, West Village, Greenwich Village, SoHo, NoLita, Lower East Side, Chelsea, Gramercy, Murray Hill, Midtown, the Financial District, the Upper East Side, and the Upper West Side. Brooklyn includes DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Vinegar Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Fort Greene. Queens includes Long Island City, Astoria, and Ravenswood. The Bronx is not a regular delivery area, but we deliver large trees there by arrangement, so please call.
How does Tree Riders NYC deliver Christmas trees?
By bicycle. We have delivered farm-fresh Christmas trees across New York City by bike for 16 seasons. We hand-pick every tree from our growers, pedal it to your door, carry it up, and set it in a stand for you. No truck, no fumes, no fuss.
What types of Christmas trees and greenery does Tree Riders NYC sell?
We specialize in Fraser fir, prized for strong branches that hold heavy ornaments and a scent that fills a room, in sizes from table-top to 13 feet and larger by arrangement. We also sell hand-crafted fresh wreaths from $29.99 to $229.99, fresh white pine garland, and clear and multi-color string lights.
Does Tree Riders NYC remove Christmas trees after the holidays?
Yes. We collect trees in January and take them to be mulched. Removal is priced by tree height and by whether the tree is still decorated, from $120 to $480. Book removal through our shop.
